How to register

Access longer telehealth consultations and other benefits by registering for MyMedicare.

You can register online at health.gov.au/mymedicare; through your medicare app or email your registration form to reception@northcotedoc.com.au 

 

MyMedicare is a voluntary patient registration model that aims to strengthen the relationship between patients, their general practice, GP and their primary care teams.  

MyMedicare recognises general practices as the best place to provide care that is patient- and community-centred. Northcote Medical is a registered  MyMedicare practice and patients can register a MyMedicare general practice as their regular or ‘home’ practice. 

 

Benefits of MyMedicare

  • Patients can access longer MBS-funded telehealth consults (Levels C and D) for more in-depth conversations (over 20 mins) with their regular GP at their home practice.  

  • Triple bulk-billing incentive for longer MBS telehealth consultations (Levels C, D and E) for children under 16, pensioners, and concession card holders. 

  • Support for more regular visits GP services and better care planning for patients in aged care through the General Practice in Aged Care Incentive (GPACI).
